The original plan was to play down to the final eight players, however, due to time constraints, that has been adjusted to the end of Level 26 or the final eight players.
This means that a maximum of two more 45-minute levels will be played before the remaining players bag and tag for Day 3.
A flop of J♥Q♦2♠ was in the middle in a pot between Adriano Bianco in the cutoff and "DG" on the button. Bianco jammed his last 500,000 chips into the 400,000 pot and "DG" made the call with the covering stack.
Adriano Bianco: K♥J♣
"DG": J♦10♦
Bianco was looking good for a double-up, but "DG" made a runner-runner straight when the turn fell Kx and the river 9x. A sour exit for the Italian, who narrowly missed out on the final two tables.
Meanwhile, "AlphaVille" also busted on another table, starting the final two tables with 15 players.
Those final two tables are now being redrawn for, giving the players a small break.

"83-83" raised to 110,000 from the button and Anton Heinrich made the flat call from the small blind. The short-stacked "Mr 7" then three-bet jammed 325,000 from the big blind, which both players called.
The board of 2♥10♠6♠7♣10♦ was then checked through, and all cards were shown down.
"Mr 7": AxKx
"83-83": K♠7♠
Anton Heinrich: A♣8♠
The two pair of "83-83" won him the pot, and "Mr 7" was the first to say his goodbyes at the final two tables, lamenting their unhit ace-king.

In a relatively mellow period of the tournament, only one "all-in" was heard. However, it garnered a fold.
With the average stack being over 40 big blinds, and the end of Day 2 in sight, the players do not seem eager to get all of their chips in.

"Kairi" jammed 345,000 chips in the middle from the cutoff and David Wintersberger three-bet all-in to 1,175,000 from the button. The blinds folded and the two showed down.
"Kairi": 5♦5♥
David Wintersberger: A♥10♦
The board ran out Q♠9♠3♥Q♣2♣ and "Kairi" faded the pairs as well as the counterfeit outs. They doubled up while Wintersberger took a small hit to his stack.

On one table, Manfred Mueller, from middle position, put out a bet on the flop of 6♥3♠8♦ before Karim Frick check-raised all-in to 855,000 from the big blind. A snap call followed and the cards were tabled.
Karim Frick: Ax3x
Manfred Mueller: KxKx
It was looking like the field was on the cusp of another elimination, but the deck had other ideas when the turn fell the A♥. The 10♣ river bricked out and Frick doubled up.
On the other table, "Kairi" in the cutoff went all-in preflop against chip leader Anton Heinrich in the big blind.
"Kairi": A♦A♥
Anton Heinrich: 6♦6♠
"Kairi"s aces easily held on 5♦J♠10♦4♥4♦, and he also secured a double-up.

The final hands have been dealt and only one elimination has been had since the final two table redraw. This means that 14 players have made it to Day 3, instead of the eight that were planned.
Stay tuned for full chip counts and a recap of the day.
