The hand-for-hand portion of this event lasted just under an hour until the money was reached. Badr Imejjane moved his 401,000 stack into the middle. Directly on his left was Thong Nguyen who called and every player in the room locked their attention on the bubble showdown.

An absolute cooler saw Nguyen on top with his bullets and the flop brought little excitement for Imejjane. The turn and river cemented it for Nguyen.

The board was completed to read . From the big blind, Thong Nguyen jammed all in and John Rock thought for a while before the called off his remaining stack.

Since it was the bubble, Rock was forced to wait in limbo to see whether or not his call was correct and if he was going to be the bubble boy or not.

He got up and paced around to shake out the nerves. When all other hands finished, the cards were exposed. Nguyen had the which Rock was beating with the for a set and he gathered in the big pot.
