The Lodge Championship Series continues with the second event, Event #4: $400 NLH $500,000 Guarantee, which got underway at 11 a.m. with Day 1a and now Day 1b slated to start at 5 p.m. local time.

Day 1b will begin at 5 p.m. and is the second of six starting flights. All players will start with 20,000 in chips and will play down until just 12% of the field is left standing, bagging up for Day 2 which then guarantees at least a min-cash.

The blinds will begin at 100/100 and will increase every 30-minutes on Day 1's, with a change to 40-minutes on Day 2.

The late registration period will be open until the beginning of level 9 with unlimited re-entries during that time.

Anyone who bags can enter another Day 1 flight, with the best stack advancing to Day 2.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here throughout the series bringing the updates as the tournament series spring into action.

Woodward Forces Fold

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Zachary Woodward made a bet and Luke Shaw called.

Both players saw the {6-Hearts} come on the river. Woodward fired again for 4,700. Shaw thought for about 30 seconds and checked his cards before tossing his hand away to ship the pot Woodward's way.

Four to the Royal on Board

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Action was on the river as the super wet board of {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} was showing. Xin Lin moved all in for a little over starting stack against Anurag Bandla who had the decision on his hand.

After a while, Bandla folded. Lin did not show, leaving everyone wondering if there had indeed been a royal flush in play or not.

Anderson Wins Flip

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Charles Anderson was weighing a decision as his opponent on his direct right had moved all in preflop over Anderson's raise to 700.

His opponent said, "this is my fourth bullet already" which promoted Anderson to spike his chips in for a call.

It was a flip as Anderson held the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} vs the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} of his opponent, with Anderson slightly covered.

The flop sent Anderson into the lead as it came {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The turn was the {k-Spades} and the river the {j-Hearts} to score the pot for Anderson and leave the player holding queens very short stacked.
