Ian Tang opened to 4,500 and Awonke Phewa called on the button. Salim Salem three-bet shoved for a total of 12,600 in the big blind and Tang pushed over the top. Phewa quickly let go of his hand and the two turned over their hands.

The action fell on Thomas Penza and he moved his 27,800 stack all-in from the hijack. Tyler Ecker shoved over the top and the rest of the table folded.
