Barrell Finds Quads in Three-Way All In

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Mason Barrell
Mason Barrell

Action picks up preflop with three players going all in. Ari Katz had the other two players covered, so Hunter Cichy and Mason Barrell were both at risk.

Cichy flipped over {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, Katz had {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and Barrell showed {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

No paint was to be found on the flop, but Barrell all but locked up the pot on the first three cards when they came out {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}. As if he needed more, Barrell turned the {6-Hearts} for quads and the overkill win.

Cichy was eliminated and Barrell's stack was back to healthy thanks to a well-timed four-of-a-kind.

Brad Owen's Last Stand Comes with Only One Jiggity

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Brad Owen
Brad Owen

Brad Owen was getting short and needed to make a move. He decided to go all in for about 7,000 which was just under 10 big blinds, but it didn't get through. Mirza Nagji isolated with a raise of his own to 18,000 and the two saw a flop heads up.

Owen had {j-}{7-} for half of his infamous "Jiggities." Nagji had him in rough shape, though, when he showed the {7-}{7-} of his own.

The board ran out clean and Owen was eliminated from the event.

Huge Flop Hits Everyone, but "Bones" Ends up on Top

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Casey Diener
Casey Diener

Action picks up on the flop when Casey "Bones" Diener bet about 7,000 into about a 20,000 chip pot. Community cards were {q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} Tomas Cruz went all in for 6,800. Jason Postenreider also went all in behind him for 18,600.

Diener called immediately when it got back to him and showed his {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top-two pair in the three-way all-in pot. Cruz had {10-Spades}{j-Spades} for the open-ended straight draw while Postenreider had {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut-flush draw.

Drama was immediately squashed when the turn came the {q-Clubs} to give Diener the unbeatable full house. The {j-Hearts} river just added salt into the wound of Postenreider.

"Get out of here," said Postenreider. But he and Cruz were the ones leaving while Diener scooped the big pot.

Himmelbrand Reads it Right, But Only Gets a Chop

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Greg Himmelbrand
Greg Himmelbrand

Gregory Himmelbrand raised to 2,500 over a preflop limp. He found callers in three other players, including James Galloway on the button.

The flop showed {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Himmelbrand bet 3,500 and both Galloway and one other player called.

The turn paired the top card when the {6-Clubs} arrived. Action now checked to Galloway who took control of the pot with a bet of 6,000. Only Himmelbrand called after some thought.

The river {q-Hearts} hit and Himmelbrand once more checked to Galloway who bet 11,300. Himmelbrand thought hard before tossing in the call.

"Ace high," said Galloway, expecting to lose the pot before showing {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. To his surprise, Himmelbrand flipped over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the bluff-catcher that earned him a chopped pot.

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Matthew McDowell
Matthew McDowell

Matthew Mcdowell rasied in middle position to 800 and two players called before action came to Henok Melaku in the small blind. Melaku decided to shove all his chips in the middle for 7,500.

McDowell called and the other players all folded.

Melaku revealed his {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} but was in trouble when McDowell showed his {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

The board showed no trouble for Mcdowell and Melaku was eliminated.

"Alright, that's enough," said one of McDowell's tablemates as he smiles and added to his growing chip stack.

The board read {9-}{5-}{2-}{k-}{7-} on the river and Hanson Henry led into the pot of about 10,000 with a 4,200 chip bet.

"All in," announced Whittington with a bet that totaled 24,100.

Henry thought for a bit as Whittington remained stoic. Eventually, Henry released his cards and Whittington happily raked the pot.

Dustin Brown Picks off the River Bluff

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Dustin Brown
Dustin Brown

Dustin Brown raised to 500 from early position and saw Ari Katz make the call on the button. Blake Whittington came over the top from the small blind with a raise to 2,500. Both other players called.

The flop brought the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. All players took their time, but action checked through on that street.

The turn came the {8-Spades}, bringing the one-liner to the straight. Action checked to Katz on the button who bet 2,000. Whittington got out of the way, but Brown made the call.

The river {6-Hearts} didn't change much and Brown checked once more. Katz fired 4,500. Brown thought for a bit before making the call.

Katz hesitated to show quickly and Brown rolled over his {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for the turned set that was enought to take down the pot.

Shiller Gets Value From the River

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Brendan Shiller
Brendan Shiller

Action was started on the river with two players staring at a board of {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Brendan Shiller bet 4,000 on the river into a pot of around 8,000.

Dustin Brown thought for some time after he checked and faced Shiller's bet. He reluctantly put in the call and Shiller showed {q-}{q-} for the over-pair to the board that caused Brown to muck his hand.
