James Mendoza Eliminated in 4th Place ($75,000)
Level 17
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Stephen Song jammed the button into the two shorter stacks with the 10♦7♦ and James Mendoza folded the J♥10♠ in the big blind. That saw his stack tumble towards ten big blinds and he then faced the open raise of Song to 80,000 with 3♥3♦.
Mendoza in the small blind moved all-in for 560,000 and Calvin Lee in the big blind asked for a count to move all-in over the top.
James Mendoza: K♥J♣
Calvin Lee: A♥K♣
The Q♦8♦5♣7♦6♠ missed both players and Lee scored the knockout with ace-king high to bring the field down to the final three contenders.
