Zhang Extends His Lead
Level 12
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Renji Mao opened to 25,000 from the hijack with A♥J♥ and Ivan Zhang defended his big blind holding J♠10♠.
Both players checked on the 3♠2♦7♣ flop and then Zhang led out for 55,000 on the 7♥ turn. Mao thought a bit and called with his ace-high.
Zhang improved to tens-up on the 10♣ river and fired 155,000 into the middle. Mao thought it over, but eventually decided to correctly lay his hand down to award Zhang the pot.
