Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche raised to 18,000 again in middle position and Charles Chao three-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff. Nitsche responded with a four-bet to 85,000 and Chao called.

The flop came Q85 and Nitsche dropped in a stack of chips. Chao didn't take long to fold and was left with just 50,000 after the hand. Just moments later, Chao was seen leaving his seat and heading to the registration desk for a fresh stack of 200,000 chips.

Ivan Zhang: AQ

Zhang held a dominating preflop lead but the flop of 1065 gave Barer a flush draw to work with. The 9 on the turn gave him some additional outs and he needed them as the J hit the river to give Barer a straight and a full double up.
