Zhong check-called a 250,000 bet from Xu on the 7♦10♠8♦ flop and then led out for 350,000 after the 7♠ fell on the turn.

Wu laid down the best hand after a bit of thought and Zhong retook a slight chip lead.

The flop came Q♥6♦3♠ and Wu checked over to Zhong, who bet 150,000 with his trey. Wu responded with a check-raise to 600,000 with his two pair and Zhong let his hand go to relinquish the chip lead.

Both players checked on the 2♠5♦5♥ and then Zhong check-called a 150,000 bet from Wu on the J♠ turn.

The Q♣ filled the river and Zhong checked a final time. Wu sized up for a 700,000 bet and Zhong decided to look him up with his deuce.

Wu turned over his trip fives and claimed the pot to pull nearly even in chips.

On the first hand of heads-up play, Weizheng Zhong called on the button with 6♠4♦ and Xuecong Wu checked his option in the big blind holding Q♦7♦.

Wu check-called 150,000 bet from Zhong on the J♥7♣K♥ flop and then both players checked on the K♠ turn.

The 8♣ completed the board and Wu checked a final time, prompting a 450,000 bet from Zhong. Wu tanked a while, but eventually put in the correct call and claimed the pot with his seven.

Weizheng Zhong raised to 375,000 in the small blind with Q♠9♦ and William Jia called in the big blind holding Q♦J♣.

Jia called a 300,000 bet from Zhong on the J♦3♥10♣ flop and a 700,000 bet from Zhong on the 3♠ turn.

The K♥ river improved Zhong to a straight and he shoved, which was enough to put Jia all in for his last 1,800,000.

Jia correctly laid his jack down and Zhong, who now has well over half the chips in play, collected the pot.

It was a shove made out of desperation from Zhu, who was unlucky to run into Xu's Big Slick.

The 2♠10♣4♦A♦2♦ runout left Wu best with aces up and Zhu was eliminated in fourth place.

William Jia opened to 900,000 first to act and it was folded to Fangzhou Zhu, who shoved from the big blind. Jia called all in for 2,100,000 total and the board was run.

It was a nearly even matchup, but the Q♣A♠6♣A♦3♥ runout favored Jia after pairing his queen to award him the double up.

Zhu, who was the big chip leader just a short while ago, is now the short stack with just 775,000.
