Fangzhou Zhu raised to 250,000 on the button and was three-bet to 725,000 by William Jia in the small blind, leaving himself just 175,000 behind. Zhu called to see a flop, which came the Q♦Q♣10♦.

Jia committed the rest of his chips and Zhu called for a a showdown.

Both players held a ten, but Jia held the best kicker.

The 2♦J♦ runout paired Zhu's jack on the end, but it didn't matter as it also gave Jia a flush for the double up.

Zhong check-called a 150,000 bet from Zhu on the 6♦5♠2♣ flop and a 350,000 bet from Zhu after the K♥ paired Zhong's king.

Both players checked on the 9♥ river and Zhong turned over the best hand to earn a small chip lead.

However, in a recent hand, Weizheng Zhong opened to 200,000 on the button with Q♠Q♣ and was three-bet to 725,000 by Fangzhou Zhu holding Q♦2♥.

It was folded back to Zhong, who shoved got a quick fold from Zhu after the failed attempt to make a play.

Fangzhou Zhu opened to 200,000 on the button and Xuecong Wu shoved from the big blind, which was enough to put Zhu all in for 2,600,000 total. Zhu snap-called and hands were revealed.

It was unfortunate timing for Wu, who was way behind the cowboys of Zhu.

Action folded to the blinds, where Weizheng Zhong shoved from the small blind, which was enough to put Yiyu Zhou in for her last 750,000 in the big blind.

Zhou decided to put her foot in the sand and called all in for a showdown.

Zhou's cards were live, and the 8♦7♦Q♠ flop gave her a gutshot to go along with them.

The 5♠ turn improved Zhou's odds further by giving her a flush draw; however, it wasn't meant to be as the 4♥ river bricked out — eliminating Zhou in fifth place as the last lady standing.

Xuecong Wu limped on the button with J♥10♦ and Weizheng Zhong called with K♠9♣ in the small blind. Yiyu Zhou then checked her option in the big blind with 8♣6♦ for a limped three-way pot.

Action checked through on the K♥9♥4♣ flop and it was checked to Wu again, who led out for 200,000 after pairing his ten on the 10♥ turn. Zhong just called with his two pair and Zhou folded.

The Q♦ put Wu into the lead with a straight and Zhong check-folded facing a 400,000 bet from Wu after tanking for a bit.

Zhong graciously showed a jack as he collected the pot to extend his chip lead.
