Liu Doubles; Zeng Busts

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Fangui Zeng
Fangui Zeng

Fangui Zeng lost almost all of his chips with 99 against QJ when his opponent Yu Zheng turned quad on the JJ8J10 board.

Forced all-in with a single chip and the J6, he was up against the A10 of William Jia. The A8658 board ended the wild ride of Zeng.

On the outer tables, Stephen Song ripped preflop with 74 out of the small blind and Kaihua Liu called with the K9. The AKQ flop made it a tough task for Song to get there and no miracle upset came on the 5 turn as well as 10 river, as Liu doubled for 176,000.

Dong Chen
Dong Chen

Over on the outer tables, Dong Chen lost a pot when he made a move against table neighbour Gailiang Chen as they then checked down the J737K river. Chen only had 53 and his opponent won with the QQ.

Soon after, the WSOP bracelet winner got it in with the 33 only for Xian Xiao to snap him off holding the JJ. The J10782 board left Chen drawing dead on the turn.

Biao Han called all-in with the AJ when Yang Liu in front of him had three-bet to 70,000 with only 85. The 106698 board gave Liu the eight on the river.

"I would have lost the hand, too," Stephen Song said in table chat.

A Table Full of Big Stacks

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Kaihua Liu and he raised to 24,000 on the button. Yang Liu pushed all-in from the small blind and Biao Han forfeited the big blind. Back on Liu, he briefly thought about it and folded as well.

Stephen Song and Jiaming Zhao are the two other massive stacks on this table not far away from the Day 1c bubble.

Shipan Wang was all-in with a severe short stack and 76, up against fellow short stack Biao Han with the 98 and Yiyu Zhou, who had both comfortably covered. Zhou's J8 was out in front as well but she had to settle for a chop with Han on the 83233 board.

Only Three Tables Remain

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Former big stack Wenlong Duan had lost half of his stack and then busted, as did several other players as the field was suddenly down to the final three tables. With the live stream ongoing, the tournament staff paused the action to move all players still in contention closer to the steam table setup.

No longer in contention are Lucy Li, Lei Yu, Qun Dang and Kinda Xie. Changdong Ren was also out after leaving the feature table on fumes not long ago.
