Yang Liu opened to 34,000 first to act and just behind him, Zhanhui Zheng three-bet to 85,000. It was then folded to Yi Ye, who shoved for her last 124,000 from the hijack. Liu folded, but Zheng called to put Ye at risk.

Zhanhui Zheng: KQ

Ye found herself in commanding shape to double up, and she maintained the lead on the AQ8 flop and 5 turn. However, a cruel Q fell on the river to improve Zheng to trip queens — ending Ye's run in heartbreaking fashion.

Martin Sedlak raised from under the gun and was called by two opponents in Nevan Chang as well as Gailiang Chen out of the big blind. They all checked the 622 flop and Chen then led the 10 turn for 40,000. Sedlak folded while Chang called.

Chen then jammed the 10 river and Chang instantly called with 66 for a flopped full house, catching his opponent on a move with the 44 for tens and fours only. That spelled the end for Chen in 25th place and the final 24 hopefuls will be balanced across the final three tables.
