Song Leaves Mendoza Short
Level 29
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
James Mendoza limped with 10♦6♣ and Stephen Song checked his option holding 5♦3♥.
The 5♥5♣6♠ flop improved both players, but left Song way ahead with trips and he check-called a 500,000 bet from Mendoza.
Both players checked on the 3♠ turn and then Song fired 3,000,000 into the middle after the J♦ filled the river.
Mendoza tanked for a while but eventually decided to look Song up and Song showed him the bad news.
