Greer Outdraws Friedman

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Adam Friedman opened for 1,100 in early position, and Jonathan Greer three-bet to 2,700. Friedman shoved all in, and Greer called off for his 8,000 or so.

Greer: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Friedman: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

"That's a good flop for you," Friedman said as {3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} hit the board. The {k-Diamonds} closed out some of Greer's outs, but the {a-Hearts} gave him the flush he needed.

Mancuso Induces a Bluff

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Josh Mancuso bet 1,500 after his lone opponent checked from the small blind on a {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. The small blind called, and both players checked the {q-Hearts}. The small blind bet out 3,000 on the {7-Diamonds} river, and Mancuso called right away.

The small blind showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, while Mancuso had it crushed with {a-}{a-}.

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Danny Drew check-raised to 6,000 after a player in middle position bet 2,800 on an {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades} board, and Shawn Schoreck cold-called in between the players. The bettor folded, and the river brought a {k-Clubs}. Both players checked quickly, and Schoreck rolled over {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}, clapping when his opponent mucked.

At another table, Adam Friedman doubled up with {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} on a board of {j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} against a player who appeared to have bluffed all in with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} on the river.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.

Thomas' Top-Top Holds

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Ben Thomas bet 1,600 after the big blind checked to him on a {9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. Mihail Karasoulis called, as did the big blind. Both players again called a bet of 2,300 from Thomas on the {2-Hearts} turn, and everyone checked the {9-Clubs} river. Thomas showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, and nobody could beat it.

Bierman Over 50,000 After Picking Off Bluff

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Steve Bierman bet 5,000 in the cutoff when action checked to him on a {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} board. One player folded in the blinds, and the player on Bierman's right called. Both players checked the {10-Hearts}, and an {a-Spades} arrived. The first player bet 8,000, and Bierman snap-called.

"You've got it," Bierman's opponent said. Bierman showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for aces up.

Daniel Holmes

Daniel Holmes bet 2,400 in the cutoff on a board of {5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, and the player on his right check-raised to 5,000. Holmes called, and the {k-Clubs} river led to two checks. Holmes showed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and took the pot.

At another table, Nicholas Graphia busted out.

Lowery Finds Three-Outer

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Shawn Schoreck opened or 1,200 under the gun, and Duma Lowery shoved all in from late position with 5,450. Another player shoved immediately to his left, and Schoreck folded, saying he had {5-}{5-} when it got back to him.

Lowery showed {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, knowing he was dominated, and sure enough his opponent had {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. The {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop gave Lowery the snowman he needed though, and the {10-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river were safe.
