Welcome to Day 1b of Mid-States Poker Tour Ho-Chunk Gaming
After Don Coy led a field of 24 survivors on yesterday's Day 1a, we're set to kick off Day 1b here at Ho-Chunk Casino in Wisconsin Dells, Wisc. Coy bagged 282,500 to lead a pack that included notables Rob Wazwaz, Lance Harris, Nick Pupillo, Todd Breyfogle, and Nick Kost.
Day 1b will begin at 4 p.m. local time, and the tournament will be using the Allen Kessler-approved structure it adopted for the last main event here. Stacks will start at 20,000, with blinds beginning at 50/100 and going up every 40 minutes. A total of 14 levels will be played today, with each player being allotted one reentry through the first nine levels.
We still haven't seen defending champion Jason Sell, so we'll keep an eye out for him, as well as other regulars such as Matt Kirby, Kou Vang, Jason Zarlenga, Chad Holloway, Jim Boone, Mike Deis, and Josh Reichard who failed to bag up last night.
