Yin Gives It Away

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Rich Alsup
Rich Alsup

Yao Yin made it 25,000 under the gun and Rich Alsup defended his big blind.

Alsup checked the {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, then called when Yin bet 50,000. The turn came the {7-Diamonds} and Alsup checked again. Yin bet 100,000 and, once again, Alsup flatted.

On the {7-Spades} river, both players checked and Alsup showed the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Yin mucked and he's now in a four-way dead heat for the lead with Alsup, Carl Carodenuto and Vladimir Revniaga.

Rogers Clips Olson

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kirby Rogers led for 20,000 and got called in three spots.

On a {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop, Rogers led for 46,000 and Willie Olson shoved. Rogers called it off with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} set and Olson had the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} pair, flush draw and a gutshot.

The board ran out {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Rogers is suddenly a contender with Olson under 100,000.

Carodenuto's Way

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Carl Carodenuto
Carl Carodenuto

Things appear to be going Carl Carodenuto's way today.

He recently picked up pocket aces to drag a sizable pot and has simply had the best of it all day long.

"I keep getting it in good," he told PokerNews, now sitting on a contending 650,000-chip stack as Level 19 comes to a close.

DJ Buckley
DJ Buckley

DJ Buckley used the {a-}{q-} to crack Derek Lesniak's {k-}{k-}, spiking an ace.

With Lesniak out, Buckley is now back to 400,000.

Revniaga Fills Up, Closes In

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With close to 160,000 in the pot already, heads up with Rich Alsup on a {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board, Vladimir Revniaga fired out a bet of 84,000.

Alsup mulled it over for a minute before committing the chips.

Revniaga showed {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for the full house and as Alsup mucked, Revniaga moved up the ladder and appears to be the only player close to chip leader Yao Yin right now.

Mlekoday Bubbles

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

John Hayes bet 16,000 on a {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop heads up with Hank Mlekoday.

Mlekoday called and Hayes check-called his 16,000-chip bet on the {j-Clubs} turn. When the {2-Clubs} river was revealed, Mlekoday announced he was all in out of turn.

Hayes checked, the all in declaration was ruled binding, and Hayes sat thinking it over for a minute before making the 111,000-chip call with the {k-Spades}{10-Spades}. He was right, Mlekoday was bluffing with the {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and bubbled the money.

The 45 players remaining will all get paid and they have combined to five tables.

On The Bubble

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Yao Yin just busted one shorty with the {5-}{7-} against the {a-}{3-}, turning a pair.

With that just 46 players remain and hand-for-hand play will commence on the money bubble.
