Another For Bekavac

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Dan Bekavac continues to pick up steam, this time coming in on the good side of a three-outer. He opened for a raise and then called the shove of a player who had only 13,700 in the blinds. Bekavac's {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} was way behind {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} but he found a {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop to his liking and faded the tens and kings.

Bekavac Doubles Up

Dan Bekavac

Dan Bekavac just got his last 18,000 or so in with {a-}{10-} after a {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} flop against a player holding {j-}{10-}. Bekavac easily faded the chop and he's now over 50,000.

Romer Shows the Eight

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Bill Romer raised to 2,500 in middle position and Andy Rogowski defended his big blind. Both checked the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop, and Rogowski bet 2,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn. Romer raised to 5,000, and Rogowski called. Rogowski checked and snap-mucked to Romer's shove on the {6-Clubs} river, and Romer showed {8-Diamonds}.

Chris Karambinis appears to have bought in at the buzzer.

Kessler Chops to Survive, Thrive

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

A player opened for 1,800 under the gun and got shoved on by a middle-position player who had 11,600. Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler put his stack of 24,500 in from the small blind, and the big blind cold-called. The opener mucked.

Kessler: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Big blind: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Middle position: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and things looked pretty grim for Kessler. A {4-Diamonds} turn gave him a straight draw, but a heart would ship the whole pot the big blind's way still. The {k-Clubs} was exactly what Kessler needed on the river, giving him half of the pot and busting the player with queens.
