Johnson Done

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Aaron Johnson shoved for about 7,000 from the button over a cutoff open and was called.

Johnson: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Cutoff: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

A flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} gave the cutoff a straight and got some "wows" from players at the table.

"Good luck, guys," Johnson said as the {3-Spades} peeled on the turn.

From early position, Nick Pupillo shoved all in for 27,000 into a pot of about 17,000 after the river made the board {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

"Wow, I don't think I can fold," the player on the button said softly. After another 30 seconds, he did call.

Pupillo showed {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for eights full, and the player on the button had {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for trips on the river.

Sandness: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Sandness didn't catch up as the board rolled out {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

Friedman Binks Three-Outer

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Adam Friedman opened for 1,000 on the button and saw the small blind make it 2,500 and the big blind cold-call. Friedman told the dealer he was all in, and the small blind quickly called off for 20,000 or so. The big blind thought a bit and folded.

Friedman: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Small blind: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

A flop of {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} gave Friedman some hope for a chop, and he called for a "four-spot" card after the {9-Spades} turn. Instead, it was a {q-Diamonds} river falling to give him the whole pot.
