Day 1c of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Season 10 finale attracted 367 runners, which along with 1s’ 172 and 1b’s 263 brought the total field up to 802 entries. The top 81 players will get paid a minimum of $2,174, while the eventual winner will walk away with a $155,288 first-place prize.

At the end of the third and final flight, 51 players bagged and tagged with World Series of Poker bracelet winner John Reading and his stack of 417,000 leading the way. That is ahead of both Day 1b chip leader Phil Mader (397,000) and Day 1a chip leader Bill Kachel (406,500).

Others to bag big stacks where Cody Espeseth (312,000), Paul Kelly (298,000), Mark Jaroslawski (250,000), and Alexander Peters (248,000), who round out the top five.

They were joined by players that include Chris Nuthak (212,000), Kanat Ozturk (202,000), MSPT Hall of Famer Kou Vang (165,000), and MSPT Season 10 Player of the Year Mike Shin (156,500).

Among those to see their MSPT Season 10 end with a whimper by busting on Day 1c were three-time MSPT champs Blake Bohn and Matt Kirby, Dan “DQ” Hendrickson, two-time Minnesota Magazine Player of the Year Saad Ghanem, HPT Season XV champ Nick Pupillo, and local players Dennis Stevermer, Matt Sundberg, and Todd Melander.

The surviving players from all three flights – of which there are 105 (20 from Day 1a, 34 from 1b, and 51 from 1c) – will return at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday to play down to a winner. PokerNews will capture all the action until a winner is crowned, while the final table will also be live-streamed worldwide on a 15-minute delay.
