There was at least 14,000 in the middle on a board reading and action was heads up between Phil Mader, who was in early position, and his opponent in the cutoff.
Mader made a bet of 8,000 and his opponent went into the tank for around a minute before conceding the pot, telling Mader he made a nice bet as he sent his cards to the muck. Mader now finds himself with two starting stacks nearing the midway point in Level 4.

A player in early position opened to 1,200 and was three-bet by Jeff Petronack to 3,000. Action made its way back to the early-position player and he called, bringing a flop of on board. The early-position player checked over to Petronack and he threw out a continuation-bet for another 3,000. His opponent folded.
"I might've been ahead still!" said the player in early position, sending his two cards onto the felt face up.
"What's that?" asked Petronack as the pot was sent his way.
"I might've been ahead," said Petronack's opponent once more.
"You were not!" said Petronack with a smile, stacking his chips as he got ready for the next hand.

There was 5,000 in the middle from preflop action in a heads-up pot between Ryan Tyler in middle position and his opponent in the cutoff. The flop came and Tyler check-called a bet of 2,500 from his opponent.
The turn was and Tyler checked again. His opponent threw out a T5,000 chip and Tyler clicked it back, check-raising the minimum to 10,000. His opponent went into the tank for just shy of a minute and a half and then painfully and meekly slid his cards from the nine-seat over to the dealer on his direct left, resulting in the pot being shipped Tyler's way.
