Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Orlando Romero
Orlando Romero

Brandon Lombardo saw action fold to him in the small blind and went all in for 2.7 million. Orlando Romero quickly called in the big blind.

Orlando Romero: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Brandon Lombardo: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Romero and much to Lombardo's delight, an ace came on the turn as the board ran out {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to result in Lombardo hitting a much-needed three outer to win the pot. Stacks were counted afterwards, Romero's was totaled to be 2.13 million, and he wound up finishing in 10th place as a result.

Benjamin Craig Eliminated in 11th Place ($12,527)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Benjamin Craig
Benjamin Craig

Benjamin Craig shoved for the last of his chips under the gun and action folded to Jesse Vilchez, who called in the big blind.

Benjamin Craig: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Jesse Vilchez: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Craig asked to get lucky after finding a dominating chance at a double, but instead, the dealer brought a flop of {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to give Vilchez a pair and flush draw. Left with two outs Craig found three counterfeit outs on the turn {a-Spades} but failed hit on the river {3-Diamonds}. He respectfully wished the table a good game as the pot was sent to Vilchez and then proceeded to make his way to the payout desk.

Larson Leaves Craig on Fumes

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On the hand following Larson's double, Benjamin Craig and David Larson got all of the chips into the middle preflop once more.

David Larson: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Benjamin Craig: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Larson wound up winning the coin flip after a runout of {7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to double once more and leave Craig with only a couple of big blinds.

Larson Stays Alive

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

David Larson, who folded his way down to 20,000 at one point within the last two hours has found a way to stay alive time and again. Just recently, he called off his remaining 315,000 in the big blind after action folded to Benjamin Craig in the small blind and Craig put him all in.

David Larson: {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Benjamin Craig: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The flop {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs} looked like it may be the end for Larson. The turn {7-Hearts} gave him chop outs, but he wouldn't need them as the river {8-Hearts} came to give him the best hand and score him the double.

All of the chips went into the middle preflop between Rickey Lee in the cutoff and Brandon Lombardo, who was on the button and at risk for his tournament life.

Rickey Lee: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The flop hit Lombardo, coming {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs} to put him in a commanding position to double. The turn {k-Diamonds} further improved him and the river {10-Clubs} completed the runout to earn him the double.

Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

Andrew Rodgers opened the action with a raise to 140,000 in the hijack and was three-bet to 400,000 by Jesse Vilchez on the button. Nick Pupillo was next to act and cold four-bet shoved for just under 800,000. Rodgers folded and then Vilchez called.

Nick Pupillo: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Jesse Vilchez: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Pupillo remained ahead on the flop {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} but Vilchez connected on the turn {a-Clubs}. It was more than Pupillo could overcome as the river {j-Hearts} left his hand second best and sent him to the payout desk in 13th place.

Jason Seitz Eliminated in 14th Place ($10,556)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jason Seitz
Jason Seitz

Jason Seitz saw action fold to him in the cutoff and jammed for about 580,000. Mike Shin looked down at his cards in the big blind when it became his turn to do so and quickly announced a call as he tabled his hand.

Jason Seitz: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Mike Shin: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Seitz was in trouble and the flop {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} did little more than bring him backdoor straight outs. The turn {8-Clubs} gave him more outs to a chop, but they missed on the river {4-Diamonds} and he was eliminated by Shin in 14th place as a result.
