Somers Sails To a Dub

David Somers was in the hijack and saw action fold to his direct right, where Joseph Vasquez limped. Somers pumped it up to 6,500 and action folded back to Vasquez, who called.

The flop came and Vasquez checked. Somers made a continuation-bet of 8,000 and Vasquez called, bringing the turn . Vasquez checked once more and Somers continued with a second barrel of 14,000. Vasquez called once more.

The river fell and Vasquez checked one final time. Somers pushed forward his remaining chips, totaling 38,000. Vasquez thought for a few moments and then dropped in chips to call.

Praise Ogwo opened the action with a raise to 10,000 in middle position and Rick Lee called on the button. David Yokoyama was in the big blind and announced he was all in.

Ogwo thought for about a minute and eventually let his hand go, putting action onto Lee. Three minutes later, Yokoyama was rewarded for his re-jam as Lee also folded, earning Yokoyama the pot preflop.

The flop came and Ioli checked to Lindsay, who made a continuation-bet of 9,000, nearly the size of the pot. Ioli check-jammed for 32,000 and Lindsay reluctantly dropped in chips to call.

A single-raised pot involving Kyna England in the cutoff and Jeffrey Lutes in the big blind brought about a flop of . Lutes led out with a bet of 3,000 and England called to bring the turn , where Luton again bet 4,000 and England called once more.

The river came and Lutes put out a bet of 16,000, sending England into the tank for over a minute. She eventually found a call.

"Polish" Andy Rogowski was under the gun and opened to 2,600. Action folded to the player on the button and he called. Kami Hudson also called, defending her big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of and Hudson checked. Rogowski made a continuation-bet of 2,500 and the player on the button called. Hudson folded, taking action heads up to the turn . Rogowski fired again, this time for 4,000, and the player on the button called once more.

The river fell and Rogowski emptied the clip, firing a third barrel for 5,500. The player on the button thought for about 30 seconds and then let his hand go, earning Rogowski the pot.
