Schmidt Flops the Nuts

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Dan Schmidt
Dan Schmidt

Dan Schmidt raised to 900 from the hijack and found three callers which included Phil Mader from the small blind.

The {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop was checked to Schmidt who continued for 1,500 and only Mader called to see the {j-Spades} fall on the turn. Action went check-check and the {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Mader check-called a 5,000 bet from Schmidt only to fold after he rolled over {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for the nuts.

Temper Hooks Howard

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was heads-up action after a {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop between Casey Temper from the cutoff and Taylor Howard from the button.

With 4,000 already in the middle, Temper check-called the 1,600 bet from Howard and then did the same for 3,600 after the {q-Spades} fell on the turn.

The {6-Diamonds} river was checked by both players and Temper showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} to win the pot.
