Dinner Time!

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The remaining players that are still in the mix have been sent on their 45-minute dinner break.

Jones Scores a Double Knockout Just Before Dinner Break

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked player shoved for his last 6,300 and the next player to act three-bet to 17,000.

Daniel Jones, next to act, announced all in and moved forward a stack of blue 5,000 chips. With action folded back around to the three-bettor he then called all-in and all three players tabled their hands.

Daniel Jones: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Short-stacked Player: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Three-bettor: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Jones got it in with the best hand and nothing changed on the {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} runout, which sent two players to the rail and even more chips to his already-impressive chipstack.

Gervais Takes a Chance

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The button raised to 2,100 and was called by Josh Gervais in the small blind and Paul Carney in his big blind.

After the dealer spread a flop of {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs} Gervais, first to act, put out a bet of 4,000, which got a fold from Carney and the button player who tabled the {a-Spades}. Gervais tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} before sending his cards to the muck and scooping the pot.

Happy Easter

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a board of {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} in a headsup pot Isaiah Easter checked. His opponent moved all in, which sent Easter into the tank for about 30 seconds before he made the call and the two players tabled their hands.

Isaiah Easter: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Easter, who said he put his opponent on a bluff when he made the call, saw that he was behind and needed a lot of help with just one card to come. He got that help when the dealer put the {3-Spades} on the river and sent his shell-shocked opponent to the rail.

Berk vs. Reilly

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In one of the last hands of Level 8 (400/800/800), Tim Reilly limped the small blind and Michael Berk checked his option from the big to see a {q-}{9-}{8-} rainbow flop.

Both players checked and the {8-Clubs} appeared on the turn to bring a backdoor flush draw. Reilly check-called a bet of 2,000 and an offsuit {k-} completed the board on the river.

Reilly checked, Berk bet 9,500, and Reilly tank-folded.

Back-to-Back Eliminations Vault Josh Prager Up the Counts

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Josh Prager
Josh Prager

It was a good couple of hands for Josh Prager.

In the first, a player open-jammed for 22,000 under the gun and Prager called from the hijack.

Josh Prager: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
UTG Player: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out a clean {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Prager scored the knockout.

While he was still stacking his chips, he opened with a raise and then called when an opponent jammed for approximately 30,000.

Josh Prager: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop paired the at-risk player but that was all the help they'd get as the {k-Hearts} turn and {5-Hearts} river gave the pot to Prager, who vaulted into six-figure terriroty.

Keeline Ships a Little to Williams

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jeremy Williams opened the preflop action with a raise to 1,800, which got calls from Ben Keeline in the next seat over and Daniel Jones in his big blind.

After Jones checked the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, Williams continued for 1,100 and only Keeline called. Both players then checked the {q-Clubs} turn and Williams bet the {2-Spades} river, which got a fold from Keeline.

Lonis Cracks Aces

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

A short-stacked player was all in preflop for their last 5,200 and at risk against Jesse Lonis, albeit with the best hand in poker.

Jesse Lonis: {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The at-risk player had the granddaddy of all hands, but this is Jesse Lonis we're talking about! He paired his king on the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} and then promptly made two pair when the {9-Diamonds} spiked on the river.

The {5-Clubs} river was of no consequence and Lonis cracked the rockets to score the K.O.
