Odeing with the Full Press

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Three players each committed 700 preflop and saw a flop of {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Rob Press was first to act in the lojack and moved all in for his last 4,300 or so. The player in the hijack folded but Ronald Oeding called from the cutoff.

Rob Press: {j-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Ronald Oeding: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped top pair but Oeding's kicker had him way out in front. Neither the {7-Diamonds} turn nor {k-Diamonds} river helped Press and he made an early exit from the tournament.

Daniel Mason Ships Early Double

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

The preflop action escaped us but we do know that a raising war resulted in Daniel Mason getting his stack of 16,100 allin and being called by an opponent.

"Aces?" Mason asked skeptically. His opponent did not reply but instead let his cards do the talking.

Daniel Mason: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Mason was relieved to see he wasn't up against aces, and his cowboys held after the board ran out a clean [jh9h6s10s3c[.

Get to Know 3-Time WSOP Bracelet Winner Adam Friedman

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

One of the most accomplished and skilled poker players in today’s field is no doubt Ohio’s Adam Friedman. If you don’t believe us, his poker résumé will surely convince you.

Let’s start with the MSPT. Friedman has amassed $349,707 in tour earnings, which puts him 22nd on the tour all-time money list. He has cashed 14 MSPT Main Events and amazingly has made the final table of those seven times! In January 2018, he finished third in the MSPT JACK Cleveland Casino for $52,976, and the following year returned to win it for $121,405.

According to The Hendon Mob, Friedman has more than $3.1 million in live tournament earnings, which puts him seventh on the Ohio all-time money list. His biggest cash of $312,417 when he won the 2019 World Series of Poker Event #35: $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship for what was his third gold bracelet.

His second came the year before in the same event, good for $293,275, while his first came in the 2012 WSOP Event #15: $5,000 Seven Card Stud for $269,037. The trio of bracelet wins constitutes Friedman’s three biggest scores.

Additionally, Friedman is a high-stakes mixed cash game player. While he’s been hibernating during the pandemic, Friedman opted to travel out west to try his hand in his first tournament in more than a year.

Time will tell if he can capture his second MSPT title.
