Baumann Cracks Wicks' Aces

Bekavac's Stack Booming Again

Dan Bekavac was a late casualty in Day 1a, but he's built the biggest stack in the room so far in Day 1b.

He passed along a pair of recent hand to the live reporting team that helped send him into the chip lead.

According to the four-time MSPT champion, he raised in early position with and got 6 callers.

He then checked a flop of and saw a player behind him bet 400, followed by a raise to 2,000 and a call.

Bekavac then raised to 10,000 and got a call from the original bettor and one other caller.

The turn brought the and Bekavac bet 7,000. With just 1,800 behind, his first opponent called and the other folded.

The river brought the to give Bekavac his flush and eliminate his opponent.

Shortly after that, Bekavac got pocket kings in preflop against his opponent's ace-king, and after a clean runout, another 32,000 was added to Bekavac's stack, which has now hit the 200,000 chip mark.

Add another to the long tradition of great poker names, as Cash Hepper is building a stack in today's flight.

In a recent pot, after a limp in middle position, a min-raise from the button and a call from the small blind, Hepper three-bet to 4,200 in the big blind. Action folded back to the small blind who decided to four-bet all in for 11,700. Hepper made the call.
