Johnson Picks Off Bohn's Bluff, Bohn Eliminated Shortly After

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action started on the river in a heads-up pot between Linda Johnson and Blake Bohn. The board showed {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} and about 15,000 was in the pot.

From the big blind, Bohn bet 12,500 on the river. Johnson thought for a while before making the call.

"Ugh, your pair is good," said Bohn.

Johnson showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for top pair and the winner.

"Just one pair?" said Bohn. "Good call, she made a great call. You played the hand really well," Bohn said sincerely.

A couple hands later, Bohn raised to 1,200 from the button. The big blind moved all in for the 9,000 effective remaining in Bohn's stack. Bohn snap called.

"You ran into a monster," said Bohn.

Blake Bohn: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

"Does he have spades? No spades. For some reason I feel spades coming," said Bohn.

Spades were the least of Bohn's worries when the window card was the {5-Diamonds}. The full board ran out {9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and the set felted Bohn.

"Look at these hands," said Bohn as he headed out the door to buy back in.
