Davison Fills Up and Gets Paid

After an initial 600 raise with two callers, the small blind layer three-bet to 3,000 and only Paul Davison called from the hijack.

The flop saw the small blind continue for 2,500 and Davison called bringing the turn.

Both Players checked and the completed the board on the river.

The small blind led out for 3,000 and then called 13,000 raise from Davison.

Davison quicky showed to win the pot with a full house.

Johnson Wins Race to Drop Opponent

Ty Johnson raised to 1,600 from under the gun and found one caller before a player from late position three-bet jammed for 7,200.

Action was on MSPT Hall of Famer Aaron Johnson isolated after going over the top for 23,000.

Johnson was behind holding two overs but didn't find either on the flop.

The turn however, came the , putting Johnson in the lead and the river eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

Since its inception in 2009, the MSPT has done a great job keeping track of player stats. As a result, 11 years on they have one of the best player databases in the industry.

On their "Leaderboards" page, the MSPT tracks such things as Career Earnings, Main Event Cashes, Main Event Final Tables, Main Event Titles, Total Cashes, Most Cashes/Final Tables in a Season, Most Final Tables All-Time, and much more.

Several players in today's field are looking to climb on the leaderboard for "Most MSPT Main Event Final Tables."

Welko Scoops with Better Kicker

Craig Welko raised to 2,000 from the hijack and found two callers that saw a flop.

Action was checked around by all three players and the fell on the turn. Welko check-called the 3,000 bet from the button and action went heads-up to the river.

Both players checked and tabled their hands. The button showed for top pair but it was no good as Welko held big slick to win the pot.

Beik Doubles Through Morfitt in Cooler
