There was heads-up action between two-time MSPT champ Taylor Howard from the cutoff and 2019 MSPT Golden Gates champ Steve Wilkie from the big blind.
With a completed board showing, Wilkie led out for 10,000 into a 20,000 pot only to call a 30,000 raise from Howard.
Wilkie rolled over for Broadway but it was no good as Howard held to scoop the pot with the club flush.

Ian Matakis raised from late position and found two callers which brought action three-ways to a flop.
Matakis continued for 4,000 and was called by the hijack before the button raised to 21,000.

Dan "DQ" Hendrickson open-jammed for roughly 14,000 from middle position and Tyler Kolness isolated from the button.
Dan "DQ" Hendrickson:
Tyler Kolness:
Kolness held the better made hand and the flop didn't change a thing.
The turn left Henderickson drawing dead as it gave Kolness a set of tens and the river ended Hendrickson's Day 1b run.
