Day 1b of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Venetian Poker Bowl VI $1,100 Main Event saw 642 entries, with only 75 making it to the end of the day. The biggest stack was bagged by Juannell Riley, who finished with a solid stack of 686,000 chips, and will be leading the way on Day 2.

Over the two starting flights, the tournament attracted a total of 1,027 entries to create a prize pool of $991,055. Only 118 total players remain and 108 will make it into the money. A min-cash is worth $2,081, but everyone will have their eyes set on the trophy and the first-place prize of $168,488.

Other notables to make it through the day include Kristen Nyman (445,000), Johnnie “Vibes” Moreno (325,000), Jamie Kerstetter (297,000), Michael Trivett (222,000), Michael Wang (148,000), and Joseph Cheong (64,000), who will have around ten big blinds heading into Day 2 but will still have room to make a run at the trophy.
