Pence Over Two Starting Stacks

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Caleb Pence
Caleb Pence

Caleb Pence opened the action with a raise to 1,500 in the hijack and received calls from both players in the blinds. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts} and the small blind led out with a bet of 2,100, prompting a fold from the big blind. Pence then called.

The turn came {q-Spades} and the small blind checked to Pence, who bet 2,800. The small blind thought for about 20 seconds and then pushed his cards forward to the dealer, earning Pence the pot.

Keeline Fires the Whole Way

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Ben Keeline
Ben Keeline

A four-way limped pot brought about a flop of {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Spades} and Ben Keeline led out for 800 in the small blind. Only the player on the button called, taking action heads up to the turn {7-Clubs} where Keeline bet another 3,200 and was called.

Keeline fired a third time on the river {j-Hearts}, betting 16,000 and leaving just 1,100 behind. His opponent thought for about 35 seconds and then found a call.

Keeline showed {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a full house and took down the pot, earning praise from tablemates for a nice hand as the pot was sent his way.

"I Love This Game!"

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Steve Patch
Steve Patch

Steve Patch opened to 2,400 under the gun and was called by the hijack. Russel Lazzara called on the button, as did Terry Wheeler defending his big blind to take action four ways to a flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Action checked to Patch and he continuation-bet 9,000. The hijack called, Lazzara folded, and then Wheeler called.

Wheeler checked the turn {10-Diamonds} and Patch bet 30,000, more than enough to put his remaining opponents all in. The hijack folded and then Wheeler thought for a bit before announcing a call.

Terry Wheeler: {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Steve Patch: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Patch's two pair and nut flush draw had Wheeler's lesser flush draw dead to the river {j-Diamonds}, sending Wheeler to re-enter as the pot was shipped Patch's way.

"I love this game!" said Patch with a smile as he stacked his chips, now totaling more than 100K.

Roy Sees a Fun Runout; Siegfried with Heaps

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action folded around the cutoff, who announced he was all in for 13,200 before Tyler Roy re-jammed in the small blind. The big blind asked for a count, which was totaled to be 15,800 and then folded to let the two have at it.

Cutoff: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Tyler Roy: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The cutoff stood up as the flop came {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and then saw the turn {q-Hearts} put him ahead with top two pair. However, the river {k-Spades} fell right behind to put Roy back on top and earn the elimination and accompanying pot.

Meanwhile, Rod Siegfried was also spotted at the same table with what is easily the largest stack in the room at present moment. Siegfried filled in some of the details, saying the vast majority of his chips came from a hand in which he had ace-king and flopped trip kings to knock out three players.
