Peragallo Dusted

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Peragallo
Andrew Peragallo

Andrew Peragallo open-jammed for 12,800 in early position and Daniel Sandoval re-jammed in the cutoff, prompting folds from everybody behind.

Andrew Peragallo: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel Sandoval: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Peragallo needed to hit one of his two overcards to stay alive, but instead wound up on the wrong end of the coin flip as the runout {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts} left Sandoval's jacks best to earn him the pot and eliminate Peragallo.

Kotliarsky Empties the Clip

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Alex Kotliarsky
Alex Kotliarsky

Alex Kotliarsky raised to 3,300 in the cutoff and was called by the small blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the small blind check-called Kotliarsky's continuation-bet of 3,000.

The turn fell {10-Clubs} and the small blind check-called another 10,000, bringing the river {6-Spades}. The small blind checked a third time.

"All in," said Kotliarsky, sliding forward the majority of his 40,000 behind. The small blind thought for about 15 seconds and then let his hand go, earning Kotliarsky the pot sans showdown.

Snowmen Good at Showdown

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ryan Hopp
Ryan Hopp

Ben Keeline raised under the gun and was called by Ryan Hopp in middle position and Yohannes Ambaye in the cutoff. Keeline fired a continuation-bet of 3,500 on the flop {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, with both Hopp and Ambaye sticking around before action checked through the turn {4-Diamonds} and river {k-Spades} to take the hand to showdown.

Upon checking back to finish the hand, Ambaye showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Keeline tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a pending chop. Hopp then ruined the party, showing {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} to win the pot with kings full of eights.

Novak Leads Into Pence

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Randy Novak
Randy Novak

Randy Novak open-limped in the hijack and saw Caleb Pence pump it up to 4,500 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Novak and he called.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Novak led out with a bet of 5,000. Pence grabbed one chip of a matching denomination off the top of his stack with his thumb and index finger and dropped it onto the felt to call, bringing the turn {8-Spades}.

"Damn, captain. I suppose I'll move all in over here," said Novak, sliding his stack forward.

"How much is it?" asked Pence.

"Discount, man. You got more," responded Novak as the dealer counted his remaining 21,500. Pence then found a fold and Novak took down the pot with his turn shove.

Durant Sends One to the Showers

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Chris Durant
Chris Durant

There was 26,000 in the middle on a board reading {5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} with heads-up action between the hijack and Chris Durant, who was on the button. Action was on the hijack, facing an all-in shove from Durant for his effective stack of 28,100. After some time, a call was made.

All-In Player: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Chris Durant: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The all-in player saw the news and stood up, tapping the felt as he did so while looking back to the river {2-Clubs} to confirm it did not give him his necessary two outer to stay alive.
