Mike Estes pumped it up to 300,000 in middle position and Timothy Gundrum three-bet to 700,000. Todd Bartlett called off his last 255,000 in the big blind and then Estes re-jammed for 2.9 million. Gundrum thought for close to half a minute and then let his hand go.

Peyton Smith opened in early position and was called by Stephen Torre, who defended his big blind. The flop dropped and Torre checked to Smith, who continuation-bet 225,000. Torre check-raised to 675,000 and Smith thought for a little over a minute before announcing he was all in for around 2.3 million. Torre instantly called.

Jared Ditmarson opened to 200,000 in the cutoff and action folded to Mike Estes, who re-jammed in the big blind. Ditmarson went into the tank and then found a call after some time.

"You're ahead," said a tablemate upon seeing the cards tabled.

"I'd like to use my one time," Ditmarson said with a smile. The flop brought potential counterfeit outs, and running gave Estes the better two pair as Ditmarson was left playing the board.

Stacks were counted to be 1.045 million for Estes and 1.040 million for Ditmarson, resulting in his entire stack going in the direction of Estes as he finished in 10th place. The finish was Ditmarson's second inside the final two tables at MSPT Riverside after he took 18th place in the last $1,100 Main Event here some four months ago.
