Baime Takes Commanding Lead with Set of Sevens

Ken Baime is on a roll and he just sent another player to the rail to take a massive chip lead.

In a three-bet pot, with three players involved on the flop, Josiah Pittman bet 8,000. He was called by one opponent and then Ken Baime moved all in having both players covered.

Pittman got out of the way but the flatter called.

Baime had the lead with a set of sevens, but he needed to dodge a flush draw. The runout was clean for Baime and he continued to rocket up the leaderboard past a quarter million in chips.

Curt Kohlberg and Nissar Quraishi got into a raising war preflop that ended up with Kohlberg at risk.

Quraishi was in front with two kings but Kohlberg found some help on the flop. The turn changed nothing and the river was not what Kohlberg needed and he exited the tournament area.

"He must have thought I was steaming from the last hand," said Quraishi to his neighbor.
