Cunniff Takes One from Wazwaz; Linde in the Mix

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Gerald Cunniff has chipped up in recent levels and he was seen dragging a pot of over 10,000 against Rob Wazwaz with the winning hand of {a-}{q-} and a full board of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

"Take that down. Unknown player beats Rob Wazwaz," Cunniff said to PokerNews after the hand.

A few tables over, Dylan Linde and Michael McCauley checked down a small pot of 4,500 and Linde showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} to take it.

Bekavac Gets Caught, Bounces Back

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Dan Bekavac
Dan Bekavac

Just before break, action was heads up with a full board of {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Dan Bekavac was all in for around 30,000 while Ark Onikul was considering his options. Onikul spent an extended amount of time in the tank.

"This is either the worst call, or..." Onikul said out loud while thinking.

Onikul eventually called and turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for the ace-high to go with the board's pair of nines. Bekavac showed {6-}{5-} and tossed it in the muck.

When players returned from break, Bekavac was all in again for 15,500. One player called and the cards were turned up.

Dan Bekavac: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Bekavac fell behind on the flop but spiked a ten on the river to secure the double and stay alive.
