David Stamm opened to 10,000 from early position, the small blind flatted, and Mitchell Halverson defended the big blind.
The flop landed and the blinds checked to Stamm who bet 11,000. The small blind called and Halverson check-raised all in for 129,000. Stamm rejammed and the small blind folded.

Halverson was ahead to the turn, and the river confirmed his double with flopped two pair.
Over three starting flights, the tournament attracted a total of 808 entries, which created a total prize pool of $1,151,400.
That will be paid out to the 91 players who will return on Day 2. A min-cash is worth $2,879 and the top three finishers will receive a six-figure payout, while the eventual winner will claim the trophy and the top prize of $200,344.
Kenna James had gotten his roughly 90,000 chips in on the button and was at risk against Mitchell Halverson in the cutoff.

James was in good shape for the double, until the flop landed to put him behind. The turn provided chop outs, but the completed the board to confirm James' elimination on the unfortunate runout, while the field is now two eliminations away from bagging.
Kenny Huynh was forced all-in for his last 3,000 in the big blind and action folded around to Mitchell Halverson in the small blind who had Huynh at risk.
"I love to see that," said Huynh as he first peeled a deuce, before the two players revealed their hands, and Huynh was dominated.
