After another 15 levels, Day 1b of the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour (MSPT) has come to an end. Day 1b more than doubled the amount of entries of Day 1a with 530. By the day's end, that number dwindled down to 75 remaining entrants.

This time around, it was England's Ben Farrell who came out on top with 501,000 chips by the end of the day. Farrell, who has over $1 million in total live earnings according to thehendonmob.com, is looking to add to an already impressive poker resume that includes a third-place finish in a $5,300 Wynn Winter Classic event and a first-place finish in a $1,700 Goliath Phamous Poker Series event (both in 2019).

Other players to bag big stacks include Harlen Miller (492,500), Jonathan Dokler (441,500), Jovan Sudar (405,500), and WSOP-bracelet winner Stephen Song (360,000).

More notables who managed to make it to Day 2 include Anthony Marquez, Benjamin Moon, Rodger Johnson, Ryan Franklin, Mike Dentale, and John Morgan.

Some players who fell short include JJ Liu, Matt Affleck, Maria Konnikova, Aaron Massey, Jerod Smith, and Joe McKeehen — all of whom will have plenty of chances to bag in Days 1c and 1d if they choose.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for another full day of action as the MSPT $1,100 Main Event ($1.5M GTD) continues with Day 1c, which is set to begin tomorrow at 11:10 a.m. local time.
