Bragg Scores Double KO

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Albert Bragg
Albert Bragg

Three players, including Albert Bragg, were all in on a {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. Bragg had both his opponents covered.

Bragg: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Hijack: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Big blind: {5-Spades}{8-Spades}

Bragg was a solid favorite, but would need to fade some outs to scoop the massive pot. The {j-Spades} paired the board immediately on the turn and sealed his victory with a full house. An irrelevant {q-Hearts} completed the board and Bragg scooped the massive pot.

Massey Lets it Go

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Aaron Massey raised to 1,700 from early position and found one caller from the big blind.

Massey continued for 1,500 when checked to on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop and his opponent called.

Both players checked the {5-Clubs} turn and the player in the big blind led out for 2,800 on the {2-Clubs} river. Massey mulled it over, but eventually landed on a fold.

Baldwin Building

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

A player opened from middle position and action folded to Eric Baldwin in the hijack, who three-bet to 6,200. Action folded back around to the original raiser, who called.

Both players proceeded to check down on the {j-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and {k-Diamonds} turn, however, Baldwin would check no more on the {10-Spades}, as he bet 7,500 after being checked to a final time.

Baldwin's opponent tanked for quite some time and re-checked his cards before sliding them into the muck.

The two-time bracelet winner is sitting healthy with just shy of 100k in chips.

Riess in Action

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
2013 WSOP Main Event Champion Ryan Riess
2013 WSOP Main Event Champion Ryan Riess

Another WSOP Main Event Champion has joined the field, as Ryan Riess took his seat shortly before dinner break.

Riess was involved in a hand where he raised the button to 2,500 and was called by the player in the big blind.

Both players checked on the {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop and {9-Spades} turn, but the player in the big led out for 2,500 when the {2-Hearts} completed the board. Riess thought it over and placed a call into the middle and his opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines.

It was was good, as Riess tossed his hand into the muck.
