Can I Just Fold Now?

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Ronnie Bardah before he was coolered
Ronnie Bardah before he was coolered

Todd Boghosian opened to 500 and found two callers to his immediate left. It was folded to Ronnie Bardah in the big blind who raised to 2,900. Boghosian thought for a moment and put in another raise to 5,500.

"What did you start the hand with Todd," Bardah asked his friend. "20?"

"17 maybe," answered Boghosian.

Bardah pushing his fist up against his chin, seeming a bit perplexed. "All in," he said after about 30 seconds. Boghosian instantly called and before he even turned his cards over Bardah said "I wanted to fold." He knew what Boghosian was about to turn over... {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. Bardah tabled his own big pair, {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. "I swear I wanted to fold. I almost just turned it over and said here take it."

Bardah shook his head, looked at the dealer, and joked "can I just fold now?"

"It's not over yet," said Boghosian.

"Naw, I'm not going to lay a beat on you," responded Bardah.

And he wouldn't, as the board would run out {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} to give Boghosian the double up. "God, whatever," muttered a slightly frustrated Bardah.

Bolek and Keenan Pick Up Small Pots

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

At one table, John Keenan three-bet his opponent's 700 raise to 2,000 and would take down the pot on the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop with a bet of 2,500.

Chris Bolek would use a check-raise to 3,500 on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to get his two opponents (including Ryan Franklin) to forfeit the 1,100 chips they had put in the middle.

Kuntz Fires Out

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

A player raised to 700 from under-the-gun and Marcia Kuntz called out of the small blind. The big stack in the big blind joined in. The flop came {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Kuntz fired out for 1,000 which was enough to get the other two to fold. Kuntz is hovering just above the starting stack of 25,000 with about 30,000 to her name. With one hour left until the dinner break there are still 42 entrants for this flight. Registration will close in approximately two hours.
