206 Players Return to Day 2 of Reserve Club 5-Year Anniversary
After 14 flights of play over the course of ten days, Day 2 of the Reserve Club 5-Year Anniversary tournament has been set. A grand total of 2,364 entrants ponied up their $620 in an effort to see a piece of this massive seven-figure prize pool, surpassing the guarantee and generating $1,182,000 for players to play for. 206 return for today, with $993,200 left to play for among the survivors.
Hitesh Patel (2,190,000) sits as the only player to cross the two million threshold, with a sizable lead of near a half a million on his next closest competitor. With 13 years of live cashes under his belt, the Ohio poker player has seen much tournament success across the country. A career high score of $44,892 comes from his third place in a tournament at Hollywood Casino in Columbus, and today he looks to add another sizable score to his resume.
Dustin Bowling (1,831,000) and Jordan Mcknight (1,669,000) round out the podium, with many other big names filling the ranks. WSOP bracelet winners Will Givens (1,347,000), Courtney Kennedy (1,003,000), Ronnie Day (765,000), and Christopher Moon (233,000) all sit hunting for this title. Moon had finished runner up in the team Michigan Championship $400 Main Event here at the reserve club for $45,690.
