Level 29 : 150,000/300,000, 150,000 ante
Dustin Bowling

The massive field of 2,364 in the $620 Reserve Club Million Dollar guaranteed tournament was reduced to just 206 players at the beginning of the day today. After 11 hours of play, that field received a further reduction to just nine players to play for the $180,854 first place prize yet to be awarded. All nine of the final players will return at 4:00 p.m. to the Reserve Club in Toledo, Ohio to play to a winner.

Leading the final nine is Dustin Bowling (17,150,000). The midwestern poker player has already seen quite a bit of poker success in just the past month alone, winning two WSOPC rings within a few days of each other at Horseshoe Hammond. Sitting with the largest stack, he looks to add another title to his burgeoning resume that will double his lifetime earnings, and put him into the legendary status at Reserve Club.

Rounding out the podium behind him are Danny Moreland (16,650,000) and Spencer Wright (14,650,000). Wright holds deep familiarity with this particular event, as it was this event last year he chopped four ways for a career best score of $120,000. Moreland (or as those who watched the stream would know him as, OMC) has already secured his best live cash, with only one $400 cash here at Reserve Club on his resume prior.

Not one, not two, but three players at the final table hold WSOP bracelets. Ronnie Day (13,125,000) holds a bracelet from the 2023 WSOP tournament of champions, William Givens (10,600,000) holds one in the 2014 $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event, and Courtney Kennedy (9,150,000) holds one from the 2016 $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em championship. Each one of them will be looking to take down another sizable title, this time a little bit further east, adding to their already decorated resumes.

Play ended with just 2:34 left in Level 29, with blinds at 150,000/300,000, with a 300,000 big blind ante. All nine of the players will return tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. at the Reserve Club and play until a winner is crowned.

That will conclude today’s coverage, be sure to check back into PokerNews tomorrow to see who wins the Reserve Club Million Dollar guaranteed.
