Lee Done For Now

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Hun Wei Lee
Hun Wei Lee

Shortly after doubling up, Hun Wei Lee called Mark Leslie's shove for just under 10,000 from the hijack while sitting in the big blind himself with the shorter stack.

Hun Wei Lee: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Mark Leslie: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for Leslie to hold with the higher pocket pair to eliminate the defending champion for now.

Lee made his way off the feature table stage for his old seat to be taken by Minh Nguyen.

Abdine Eliminated by Crawshaw

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Shivan Abdine
Shivan Abdine

On the heads-up turn of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Hamish Crawshaw bet just over 3,000 and Shivan Abdine called to see the {2-Hearts} on the river with around 7,000 behind. Crawshaw moved all in and Abdine called it off to get shown the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} by Crawshaw.

Abdine nodded, briefly flashed his {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} for top pair and headed to the rail.

Lock Busts in Cruel Fashion

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Luke Tanner
Luke Tanner

On the three-way flop of {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Andrew Lock made it 3,000 to go out of the small blind and he was called by Luke Tanner in the big blind and Salvatore Lacisano in the cutoff. The {3-Hearts} turn saw Lock jam for around 13,000 and Tanner came along, while Lucisano folded the {q-Diamonds} face up.

Andrew Lock: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Luke Tanner: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs} river gave Tanner a full house and Lock could not believe his misfortune. "How bad do I run?" he shrugged and headed out of the tournament area.

One Yazbeck Up; One Yazbeck Down

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante
Mark Yazbeck
Mark Yazbeck

Alex Yazbeck had more than doubled his stack but was just all in for a mere 2,150 with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} versus {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. The board came {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and he doubled.

One table over, his father Mark Yazbeck was in action and called a raise to 400 by Marco Perri, as did David Sebesfi and one further player. The {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop was checked to Yazbeck and he bet 450, only Perri and Sebesfi called. On the {8-Clubs} turn, the action checked to Sebesfi who now bet 1,400 and picked up two callers.

The {2-Diamonds} river was checked and Perri announced queens, rolling over the {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Yazbeck had that beat with {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Sebesfi mucked.

One hand later, Brendon Rubie check-called a bet of 2,200 by Yazbeck on the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} turn and the {9-Hearts} river was checked. Yazbeck had the best of it again with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and won the pot.
