First Ever Triton SHRS Champion Busted

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Wai Kin Yong
Wai Kin Yong

Wai Kin Yong's journey to become the first two-time champion has come to an end. The inaugural Triton Super High ROller Series champion, who prevailed in Manila in November 2016, got his stack in the middle against Elton Tsang and lost to a set of eights on a {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} board.

That leaves Manig Loeser as the only former champion still in the hunt.

Rakhimov Doubles Through Greenwood

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Mike Watson opened to 55,000 on the button and Sam Greenwood three-bet shoved for around 480,000 in the small blind. Furkat Rakhimov was in the big blind and after a few moments called all-in with 313,000 behind. Watson folded.

Greenwood: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Rakhimov: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

A {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board fanned out and Rakhimov scored the double up leaving Greenwood with less than 10 bigs.
