With about 200,000 in the pot and a board reading {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}, Justin Bonomo checked and Steffen Sontheimer moved all-in. Bonomo got a count which amounted to 327,000 and made the call.

Sontheimer: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Bonomo: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}

Bonomo was behind but had a bunch of outs to win the pot. The river bricked out and Sontheimer raked in a huge double up.

James Chen
James Chen

Facing a bet of 120,000 on the river of a {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board and a pot worth about 380,000, Jame Chen took a moment before finding a call. His opponent tabled {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} having just queen-high and Chen turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} winning the pot with a pair of tens.

Chen is now at the top of the leaderboard.

Dan Smith
Dan Smith

A short-stacked Dan Smith open-shoved for just 58,000 and was put at risk by Gabe Patgorski.

Smith: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Patgorski: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Smith was in trouble but found some hope with a {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. Unfortunately, a {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} run out gave him no help and Smith was eliminated.
