Mustapha Kanit Eliminated in 6th Place (HK$ 556,000)

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Right after the elimination of Mikita Badziakouski, Mustapha Kanit open-shoved for his last 70,000 from the small blind and Sergio Aido looked him up from the big blind.

Mustapha Kanit: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Sergio Aido: {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}

"What do you think I am pushing with in your big blind?" Kanit said, somewhat surprised when spotting the cards of his opponent. After the board ran out {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, Aido caught a queen on the river. Neither player had a club in the hand and that sent Kanit to the rail in 6th place for HK$ 556,000.

Mikita Badziakouski Eliminated in 7th Place (HK$ 405,000)

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski took a long time to make a decision in the cutoff and Mustapha Kanit in the big blind then said "I have a good feeling about this hand bro, just go for it. The last time I was in the big blind, I doubled." Badziakouski took another minute before raising to 50,000 with only 40,000 behind.

Erik Seidel on the button min-raised to get everyone else out of the way and Badziakouski called all in.

Mikita Badziakouski: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Erik Seidel: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Badziakouski was eliminated in 7th place for HK$ 405,000.

Pots for Kempe and Seidel

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and Sergio Aido in the small blind, as well as Dan Colman in the big blind called. On the flop of {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, the action checked to Kempe and his continuation bet worth 22,000 was called by both Aido and Colman. The {4-Diamonds} turn went check, check, and Aido bet the {3-Hearts} river for 55,000.

Colman folded, but Kempe came along and called. Aido turned over {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for a bluff, and Kempe scooped the pot with {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.

One hand later, Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind against Erik Seidel. On the {J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} river, Badziakouski check-called a bet of 20,000 and mucked once Seidel showed {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the ace-high flush.

Kanit Triples Up

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Erik Seidel opened the action with a raise to 17,000 and Rainer Kempe three-bet from one seat over in the small blind to 53,000. Mustapha Kanit in the big blind asked Seidel how much he was playing, then called all in for his last 24,000. Seidel folded and Kanit had the chance to triple up thanks to the raise and antes.

Mustapha Kanit: {6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Rainer Kempe: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop fell {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Mikita Badziakouski asked for the {5-Spades}, Kanit wanted to see the {3-Spades} next. Instead, it was the {5-Hearts} to give the Italian plenty of outs. Sure enough the {8-Hearts} river completed a straight and Kanit tripled up.

Both tables had some action going. Over on table two, Dan Colman raised to 12,000 on the button and Mustapha Kanit defended the big blind. On the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, both players checked. There was no betting action on the {10-Hearts} turn either and Kanit then bet 16,000 on the {2-Hearts} river. Colman moved him all in and Kanit eventually folded, flashing the {5-Spades}.

At the same time, Sergio Aido had raised to 15,000 from the small blind and Richard Yong shoved for 91,000 in the big blind. Aido called and the duo had to wait until table two was finished before turning over their cards.

Richard Yong: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Sergio Aido: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}

The board came {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Spades} and Aido let the bubble burst with the nut flush. All remaining seven players have HK$ 405,000 locked up for their efforts, and will now redraw to the unofficial seven-handed final table.

Seidel Takes Small Pot From Kempe; Gives it Back

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 13,000 from under the gun and Rainer Kempe called in the big blind. The duo checked down a board of {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} entirely and Kempe flashed {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Seidel had that beat with {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

The duo got into another pot soon after that triggered little action, and this time Kempe took it down after betting the river.

With the money bubble going on hand-for-hand, the action has slowed down significantly.

Kuznetsov Takes from Badziakouski

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The action has slowed down, as Sergio Aido claimed one pot over on table one to bump the stack slightly. Table two was still in action and a crowd gathered around to see the flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} go check, check, between Timofey Kuznetsov in the big blind and Mikita Badziakouski on the button.

Kuznetsov then bet the {4-Diamonds} turn for 25,000 and Badziakouski called. On the {J-Clubs} river, Kuznetsov made it 22,000 to go and that forced a fold after plenty of consideration by Badziakouski.
