Tom Dwan Eliminated in 9th Place

MrCleverFox • Level 12: 0-0, 15,000 ante
Tom Dwan

Cary Katz and Kenneth Kee both limped in and Tom Dwan raised to 130,000 on the button with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Cary Katz called with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} while Kee folded.

The flop was {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Katz checked to Dwan who bet 160,000. Katz then called.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and Katz tanked for a bit, using one time extension before he moved all in moved all in with a covering stack.. Dwan called to see Katz straight and needed to pair one of his cards to make a full house to catch up.

The river was the {Q-Hearts} though and that would spell the end for Dwan. Katz took down the pot and chipped up to four million while Dwan headed to the rail.
