Jason Koon: Best Short-Deck Tournament Poker Player in the World?!

The Triton High Roller Series wrapped up last week in Jeju, South Korea. Highlights from the series included Jason Koon winning the short-deck ante-only tournament for $2,840,945. This win brings his total short-deck tournament winnings to just over $6.3 million.
Short-deck poker is a variant played with 36 cards instead of the regular 52. The 2's, 3', 4's, and 5's are taken out of the deck, so the lowest card in play is a 6.
Later on in the Triton Series, Timothy Adams defeated Bryn Kenney heads up in the 2019 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju HKD 2,000,000 Main Event. The final table featured some of the best poker players in the world like Timothy Adams and Bryn Kenney (as noted above), as well as Dan Smith, David Peters, Issac Haxton, and Peter Jetten.
