The Action Remains Very Limited

Phil Ivey raised up the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Xuan Tan called with {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. On the {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, Ivey bet 700,000 into 1,180,000 and Tan let go.

Ivey bet a four-way limped pot on the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop for 300,000 with the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Jason Koon called with the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Ivey checked his additional gutshot and Koon bet 720,000, Ivey folded.

Yu limped in with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and saw a flop of {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Ivey bet 400,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and folded to a check-raise to 1 million.

While Koon remained the dominating chip leader, none of the four remaining players went out of the line and stuck to a limping strategy.

Koon Starts to Pull Away

Jason Koon raised to 600,000 with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Xuan Tan called with the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The flop fell {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Koon bet 450,000 with his bottom two pair, Tan called. On the {9-Spades} turn, Koon made it 1,450,000 to go and Tan folded.

A three-way limped pot to the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop was checked through and Tan bet 205,000 on the {A-Diamonds} turn with the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for quads, Winfred Yu called with the {J-Spades}{9-Spades}. The {Q-Clubs} on the river brought a bet of 800,000 by Tan and Yu called to get shown quads, he showed the straight and said "wrong queen," referring to the {Q-Spades} that would have given him the straight flush.

Koon's Run Good Returns

Soon after Tan and Koon got into another pot and Tan bet small with his {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} on the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Koon called with Kc10c] for top pair and the back door flush draw. On the {J-Hearts} turn, Tan bet 525,000 and Koon called.

The {Q-Spades} river improved Koon to a straight and Tan checked, Koon made it 800,000 to go. Tan thought it through and folded.

Full House Versus Full House Setback for Ivey

After a small bet on the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop, the {10-Spades} turn brought a bet of 500,000 by Jason Koon with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Phil Ivey called with the {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Both opted to check the {8-Diamonds} and another pot was shipped over to Koon, who bumped his stack to 11 million.

Tan limped the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Ivey headed into the hand with the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Tan bet the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and the {10-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Tan improved to the better full house and bet 525,000 and Ivey just called. The {K-Clubs} on the river brought a bet of 1,400,000 by Tan, Ivey called and lost a big pot.

Koon Back Above 10 Million

On the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, Jason Koon bet 125,000 with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Phil Ivey called with {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for two pair. The {10-Clubs} turn instantly improved Koon, his bet of 400,000, however, was not followed by a call.

The next three-way flop of {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} was checked through and the {10-Spades} fell on the turn. Koon bet 300,000 with the {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Xuan Tan called with {K-Spades}{6-Spades}, as did Ivey with {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The {7-Clubs} river was checked and Koon claimed the pot.
