Ivey Doubles Through Koon

Level 15 : 0/0, 30,000 ante

Jason Koon claimed two pots in a row, the first one with {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} on an ace-high flop with three clubs, before taking from Phil Ivey with ace-king versus king-jack on a queen-high turn.

Then, Koon limped in with the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Ivan Leow did so with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, Gabe Patgorski in the cutoff had the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Ivey checked with the {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}. All players checked the {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and the {A-Clubs} appeared on the turn.

Koon bet 150,000 and Leow folded, Patgorski called. Ivey then check-raised all in for 1,035,000 and Koon eyed his stack. He then announced the call and Patgorski folded. "I guess you have the eight-six," Koon sighed and he was indeed shown just that. The {10-Spades} river changed nothing and Ivey doubled.

Koon Takes from Rakhimov

Level 15 : 0/0, 30,000 ante

A four-way limped pot emerged to the {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop and action checked to see the {J-Spades} turn. Dan Cates was seemingly preparing a bet with the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} but checked. Furkat Rakhimov bet 200,000 with the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and that forced out Gabe Patgorski with the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, while Jason Koon was the only caller with the {10-Spades}{6-Spades} on the button for a flush draw.

The {K-Spades} river improved Koon to a flush and Rakhimov bet 425,000 into a pot of 700,000. Koon raised it up to 1,100,000 and Rakhimov folded instantly.

Ivey Takes Twice from Patgorski

Level 15 : 0/0, 30,000 ante

On the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, It was Phil Ivey that bet 125,000 with his {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Gabe Patgorski called with the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Dan Cates folded the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. After the {6-Spades} turn, Patgorski took the betting lead with 325,000 and Ivey called. The {J-Clubs} river was checked through and Ivey claimed the pot.

Soon after the duo clashed again to see a pot of 1,060,000 emerge to the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} river. Patgorski bet 600,000 with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Ivey had a decision with {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} for two pair. Ivey checked his stack carefully
