The first-ever live Short Deck Ante-Only tournament as part of the 2018 Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro high stakes festival attracted a field of 61 entries for the HKD$ 250,000 Short Deck Ante-Only Side Event at the Maestral Resort & Casino in Budva, Montenegro. After more than 13 levels of play on Day 1, the bubble burst and the remaining nine players all locked up a portion of the HKD$14,347,200 prize pool (~$ 1,827,900).

Leading the field into the final day is Alan Sass with 2,775,000, but he will face tough competition, as three superstars of the international poker scene are still in contention for the title and first place payout of HKD$4,749,200 (~$604,977) with Dan Cates (2,670,000), Jason Koon (2,495,000) and Phil Ivey (1,800,000).
